We created eigokobo, originally an English language school, in March of 2000. Our school evolved to include international homestay, outdoor events, vegan cooking, art and yoga.
In 2018, we will reach a decade of also being a yoga center - the first of its kind in Kyushu.
We hope our efforts raise the comfort, calm and kindness in our community.

yoga certification
Both Megumi & Steve are certified Jivamukti Yoga Teachers and have received RYT200 certification in the Ashtanga tradition.
Megumi is a certified aerial yoga instructor.
Our yoga center is registered with Yoga Alliance at RYS200 level.

Steve received both his BFA in Sculpture and MA in Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Urbana.
